James Legge III, APRN-CNP

Professional interests

James is certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and has been with the Blanchard Valley Hospital since 2013, board-certified in mental health since 2020. In this specialty, he sees patients starting at age 14. He works with a variety of different conditions, including autism, PTSD, ADHD, and other severe mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, as well as eating disorders. James has a passion for working with young people and with veterans. James does offer advanced testing for ADHD and initial autism evaluations. James also offers individual therapy, group therapy, and medication management and is an active serving National Guardsman in the United States Air Force as a medical officer based out of Columbus, Ohio. Previously, James spent the majority of his career in critical care and trauma medicine, and he still teaches trauma courses in the Air Force.
